The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today.
This instrument is a 4-string model from Fender's modern line, the American Ultra II, which inherits the lineage of the American Deluxe series.
The body is made of alder, the neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is made of rosewood.
The neck shape is a Modern D shape, which gradually changes shape from the low to high positions.
Furthermore, the fingerboard uses a 10" to 14" Compound Radius.
While maintaining a natural grip in the low positions, it becomes flatter towards the high positions, resulting in smooth fingering that doesn't feel as wide as a typical 5-string bass neck. The pickups have been replaced with EVERTONE PICKUP NEWTONE JB4 Class-S Gene set.
These pickups aim for a clearer, more responsive sound, providing solid low-end support while clarifying the attack and definition of the tone.
The preamp is the original.
The sound boasts rich lows while retaining the clear mid-high frequencies and sharp attack characteristic of a Jazz Bass.
Its excellent definition and clear projection ensure it doesn't get lost in an ensemble.
