This is the JB-5-326OX, a signature model of Mitsuru Sudo, one of Japan's leading bassists.
The body is made of alder, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is ebony.
It is equipped with OXALIS JB-5 pickups.
These are simple single-coil pickups with complete hand-wiring, offering the clear response and natural dynamics characteristic of a JB bass.
The preamp is a Bartolini XTCT.
It firmly supports the stable low end characteristic of a 5-string bass while also possessing the clear mid-high frequencies typical of a JB bass.
The sound is tight and clear.
When fingerpicking, the attack of the sound is natural, and when slapping, the power of the low end and the clarity of the high end feel very pleasing.
