Yamaha has been a pillar of the Japanese guitar industry since its early days, often referred to as the ""Gibson of Japan.""
While the company boasts several iconic models, this particular model is a masterpiece from the highly acclaimed BB series.
This is the BB2024, the flagship model of the BB series.
Based on the traditional BB style, it incorporates modern design and unique wood processing techniques.
The body is made of alder, the neck is a 5-piece laminate of maple and mahogany, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
The neck utilizes a laminated structure combining different woods, ensuring rigidity and stability.
Furthermore, the body is treated with Yamaha's proprietary A.R.E. process.
A.R.E. is Yamaha's unique wood modification technology, developed through research into the aging process of wood, aiming for a rich resonance similar to that of an instrument that has been played for many years.
In addition, I.R.A. treatment, which applies vibration to the finished instrument, is also employed.
This is Yamaha's unique approach, aiming to optimize the overall vibration characteristics of the instrument from a brand-new state, resulting in a natural response.
The bridge features a 45-degree string-through-body design.
