Epiphone is a guitar brand with a long history.
Currently positioned as a more affordable alternative to Gibson, it still enjoys a large following due to its high quality.
This model is based on Gibson's classic SG guitar and is particularly popular among rock bassists—the so-called SG bass.
The body and neck are made of mahogany, and the fretboard is rosewood, a configuration typical of Gibson guitars.
It features two original humbucker pickups.
The sound is characterized by a thick mid-low range and a solid presence, typical of humbuckers.
This guitar excels in rock, R&B, and pop music where a strong bass sound is desired.
The frets have approximately 50% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show some minor scratches and small dents. Some tarnishing and rust are visible on the metal parts. A crack is visible on the 1st string tuning peg (back of the headstock), but this does not affect normal use.
