Tune is a long-established bass brand based in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Since its founding in 1983, it has been loved by many bassists.
This is the Zi-III-5, which features a beautiful through-neck construction.
It boasts excellent playability thanks to its superior body balance and smooth neck feel.
Since a spec sheet is not included, the wood composition is judged from its appearance.
The body appears to be made of Hawaiian Koa and Mahogany.
The neck is Maple, and the fingerboard is Ebony.
It is equipped with EMG pickups and employs an active circuit with an original preamp.
In addition to the clear and fast sound characteristic of EMGs, it has a tone with a wide range and high separation.
You can also feel the rich resonance of the wood, and the sound is appealing with a solid low end and clear highs.
