The company boasts several models considered classics, but the BB series, in particular, is a beloved series among bassists worldwide.
The BB435 is a recent evolution of the BB series.
This model is made in Indonesia.
Indonesia is arguably the world's most highly regarded guitar-making country, and many top guitar brands, in addition to Yamaha, entrust their production to Indonesia.
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood, a classic construction.
The neck is a laminated type, combining maple and mahogany.
This technique of laminating multiple woods to create the neck reduces left-right and individual differences, resulting in greater stability.
The combination of Indonesian woods strikes a good balance between price and quality.
It features YGD V5 P/J pickups.
It is characterized by a sound that combines a thick, impactful low-mid range with sharp, clear high frequencies.
The P/J pickup layout allows for a wide range of tonal possibilities, making it highly practical for any genre, from rock to pop and session work.
