Fujigen is a guitar factory that Japan proudly presents to the world.
Its quality is highly regarded globally, and it has manufactured OEM guitars for many guitar brands such as Fender, G&L, and Ibanez.
FGN is the original brand of this world-class guitar factory.
This model is a 5-string Jazz Bass type with an orthodox style that feels somehow new.
The body is made of alder and the fretboard is rosewood, a classic wood combination.
The specifications evoke a 1960s Fender.
The frets use the brand's familiar CFS (circle fretting system).
CFS uses a fan-shaped fret installation, creating a right-angle angle to the strings and allowing for more accurate scale setting.
Controls include neck pickup volume, bridge pickup volume, and master tone.
The tone pot has a push/pull switch, and when pulled, the pickups are connected in series.
This provides a powerful sound similar to a humbucking pickup.
While keeping costs to a minimum, this is a masterpiece that highlights their high level of technical skill. This bass is highly recommended for anyone looking for their first 5-string bass or struggling to choose a second one.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
