This instrument is the BB G4A, which inherits the lineage of the BB-N series, originally created for Nathan East, while being developed to be more accessible to a wider range of players.
It features an alder body and a rosewood fingerboard.
Its appearance is particularly noteworthy.
This guitar employs a special technique called HD (High Definition) finish, meticulously reproducing the vibrant, three-dimensional grain of the highest quality quilted maple on the body top.
The pickups and preamp are original Yamaha components.
The two humbucking pickups are extremely low-noise while delivering a powerful, punchy low end.
The 2-band EQ allows for even thicker, more focused sound shaping, providing a convincing foundation for any ensemble.
Combined with Yamaha's renowned precision construction and stable pitch, this is a reliable all-rounder that excels in any genre and setting.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is stiff, but approximately 90 degrees of movement has been confirmed.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show some small dents and scratches throughout. There is a paint chip on the headstock.
The electronics are in good condition.
The neck plate has been replaced with a Freedom Custom Guitar Research / Tone Shift Plate.
