Tokai is a Japanese manufacturer of various musical instruments.
In particular, their guitars and basses are highly popular both domestically and internationally, representing the pinnacle of Japanese vintage craftsmanship.
They continue to manufacture instruments today, and their products are highly regarded by users.
This particular model is based on a traditional 1960s PB (Piano Bass).
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
A classic combination with a rich midrange.
The pickups are original.
While possessing a refined sound balance, it also has a vintage-like nuance, rich in harmonics and a pleasant midrange.
It can be said that this is an all-rounder that combines high playability with versatility, suitable for various playing styles and genres.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
