Description & Condition
Aria Pro II is an international brand that has been active since the early days of guitar making in Japan.
As a brand of Arai Trading, a large trading company, it excels at combining high quality with accessible pricing.
This is a superb example from the highly popular RSB series.
The body is made of alder, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood, a classic wood combination.
The neck pickup is a powerful split-coil pickup, and the bridge pickup is a hum-canceling pickup.
The neck pickup can be switched between series and parallel wiring, and the bridge pickup can be selected to operate as a single-coil or hum-canceling pickup.
This allows for a wide range of tones, from powerful and fat sounds to sharp and clear sounds.
This is a guitar full of the charm of Japanese vintage guitars.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
The truss rod is stiff, but it has been confirmed to move about 90 degrees.
The neck is currently adjusted to GIB standards (2.0mm-2.5mm at the 12th fret), and there is slight fret lift at the last fret, causing a slight buzz when picking strongly.
The body and paintwork show overall minor scratches. There is a noticeable scratch approximately 30.0mm in diameter on the back of the body. The wood grain is partially chipped around the truss rod adjustment area. There is a paint chip of approximately 7.0mm near the neck joint. There is paint chipping near the tuning machines for the 1st, 3rd, and 4th strings. There is a paint chip of approximately 20.0mm at the tip of the headstock.
The electronics are in good condition.
The neck pickup volume/tone and bridge pickup volume/tone pots have been replaced with current CTS pots.
