They are renowned for their beautiful looks and superior sound.

This is a somewhat rare 5-string PB type.
MP stands for Modern PB model.
The body is alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
A classic combination that produces a rich midrange.
The body has been relic'd, giving it a dignified appearance.

The massive low end, typical of a PB type, is pleasing, and it powerfully supports the ensemble whether playing with fingers or a pick.
