Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Dragonfly is a Japanese guitar and bass brand with a long history.
They manufacture high-quality products using knowledge and technology cultivated over many years.
It is favored by many musicians, and it is well known that Teyan Tetsuya of Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas uses a Dragonfly bass. (Titles omitted)
Dragonfly has several models, but this is the IL CUORE, a high-end line made using carefully selected woods.
Since a spec sheet is not included, the wood type is judged from the appearance.
The body top is rosewood, and the body back is ash.
The neck is a 5-piece laminate type mainly of maple combined with walnut-type woods.
This method of laminating multiple types of wood to create the neck minimizes left-right and individual differences, resulting in higher stability.
The pickups are original.
The preamp is a Bartolini TCT.
The bridge and tuning machines are made by GOTOH.
With its double-cutaway body design, this bass offers a familiar balance, even for those who primarily play Fender-style basses.
The sound is sharp and clear, like a Jazz Bass.
At the same time, it possesses a refined nuance, giving it a modern feel.
Based on a sound with universal appeal, this model's major strengths lie in its wide tonal range thanks to its 24 frets and its flexible preamp.
This is a high-end model that combines meticulous craftsmanship with highly practical sound shaping capabilities.
The frets have approximately 90% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show some scratches and dents overall. There are dents of about 10.0mm on the back of the neck at the 5th and 8th frets.
The electronics are in good condition.
The volume pot appears to have been replaced, causing the knob to be slightly crooked. Currently, there are no functional problems.
