Description & Condition

Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.

It's loved by countless top artists, including James Jamerson, Bobby Vega, and Michael League. (Titles omitted)

The Precision Bass, the world's first fretted solid-body electric bass, instantly captivated bassists worldwide.

Its brilliance remains unchanged and beloved even more than half a century after its creation.

Fender Japan started in the 1980s as a Japanese-made Fender brand, but unfortunately, it has now been discontinued and integrated into Fender itself.

However, the brand's quality is still supported by many artists and continues to be sought after.

While Fender Japan basses are said to have differences depending on the serial number, this one is a legendary JV serial number.

The neck end has ""10,9,83"" handwritten on it.

Considering the specifications, the model was determined.

The body is alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood.

A classic combination with a rich midrange.

The pickups are original.

The warm midrange characteristic of the alder body perfectly matches the fat, sustained tone typical of a Precision Bass.

From the enveloping low end for fingerstyle ensembles to the powerful attack with a pick, this instrument delivers all the required elements at a high level.

A superb instrument with a sound and playability that eloquently speaks of the richness of Fender Japan's JV era.

Approximately 60% of the frets remain.

The truss rod is in good condition.

The neck is in good condition.

The body and paintwork show some dents and scratches of approximately 20.0mm and 30.0mm on the back of the body. Scratches are also visible throughout the body top. The metal parts show some tarnishing. There is a paint chip of approximately 5.0mm on the back of the neck at the 1st fret.

The electronics are in good condition.

All knobs have been replaced.
