Providence is a brand that manufactures numerous professional-grade products and is highly regarded by musicians and engineers in the field.
This model, while based on the so-called OPB style, is a modern interpretation by Providence, blending modern elements for contemporary musicians.
The body is made of ash, and the neck is 1P maple.
The pickups are original.
It is equipped with a high-quality buffer, the Vitalizer.
The Vitalizer can be switched on/off.
When on, it suppresses sound degradation when using long cables, and gives the impression of slightly clearer bass strings.
At first glance, it may look like an instrument modeled after a JB, but the actual sound goes beyond that.
The front pickup is thick but not too loose, and the rear pickup has a fat and sharp sound.
When mixed, it has a JB-like element with a slightly tighter midrange, but also a warm midrange reminiscent of a PB.
This guitar possesses a very subtle nuance, making it a reliable choice for session musicians who need to adapt to a wide range of genres, including vocal music, jazz, and rock.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition. There is a 5mm dent on the back of the neck at the first fret.
The body and paintwork show several dents of about 3.0mm. The pickguard has scratches, scuffs, and what appears to be sticker residue, and the tuning machines show some tarnishing. There is a 3.0mm paint chip near the neck joint.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
