Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Sadowsky is a high-end brand from New York, boasting top-tier musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee as clients. (Titles omitted)
Currently, Sadowsky guitars are produced in the USA (NYC), Germany (Warwick), and China, but this is a custom model from the era when they were made in Japan.
Sadowsky TOKYO and Sadowsky TYO were positioned as brands that manufactured custom models rather than mass-produced ones.
This is the RJ-4 model.
The body is made of ash, and the fingerboard is maple—a classic combination.
It features a natural finish, a black pickguard, binding, and block inlays.
It is equipped with Sadowsky Humcancelling J Pickups.
The preamp is a Classic Sadowsky Treble and Bass Boost Preamp.
The bridge is a BADASS BASS II.
It is characterized by its ultra-smooth playability and crisp sound.
The clear attack characteristic of an ash body and maple fretboard, combined with Sadowsky's refined preamp sound, produces a tight, articulate tone.
This is a unique charm of Japanese-made Sadowsky guitars, unlike those made in NYC or current Warwick models.
For those seeking a Japanese-made Sadowsky, this is a guitar I highly recommend trying.
Fret life is approximately 90%.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show minor scratches on the entire body and pickguard. There are scattered dents of about 0.1mm.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
