Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Sadowsky is a high-end New York brand with top-tier musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee as clients. (Titles omitted)
Previously, the Metroline Express was manufactured in Japan, but as Warwick took over the distribution of Sadowsky products, manufacturing shifted to a factory in China.
While keeping the selling price down, high quality is maintained, making it a very unique product in its price range.
This is the MX20 UV5, the first PB-type guitar in the MX series.
The body is made of lightweight solid Okoume, the neck is made of Roasted Maple, and the fingerboard is made of Morado (Pau Ferro) or Roasted Maple.
This is a standard combination in the MX series.
The construction has been thoroughly considered for excellent body balance and sound projection, resulting in a very refined balance that is comfortable to hold.
The back of the neck has a satin finish, providing a smooth and pleasant feel.
The pickup is a "Sadowsky passive P-Style pickup."
It has the powerful, forceful projection characteristic of PB-type basses, yet delivers a clear sound without muddy bass tones.
The preamp features the familiar 2-band EQ.
You can significantly boost the bass and treble frequencies with the touch of a button.
The circuit board of this preamp is almost identical to that used in the top-of-the-line models priced around 1 million yen.
Copper foil shielding is also applied, resulting in surprisingly low noise.
These points are extremely significant advantages when choosing an MX series bass.
Even in this price range, you can see Roger Sadowsky's uncompromising dedication to instrument making.
While offering the ultra-smooth playability characteristic of Sadowsky, the sound is unmistakably that of a P-bass.
It outputs a modern tone that beautifully blends a robust punch with sweet, airy, and clear treble tones.
Based on the traditional PB design, this guitar incorporates modern elements, reflecting Roger Sadowsky's philosophy.
