The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to enjoy overwhelming support and a shining presence even today.
This is a genuine Jazz Bass, literally modeled after a vintage instrument.
Manufactured in 1994.
It's a relatively old example.
The body is made of alder, and the fretboard is rosewood—a classic combination.
The pickups are original.
The controls feature the iconic stacked knob design characteristic of this era.
The sound, with its rich, full-bodied bass and sharp, beautiful treble, is truly classic.
A bassist would surely want to experience this sound and playability.
This is an exceptional instrument guaranteed to excel in various genres.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show two paint chips of about 10.0mm on the back of the body. A noticeable paint chip of about 20.0mm is visible on the side of the body. There are about five screw holes on the back of the body, six on the side, and three screw holes between the pickups on the top of the body. Screw holes are visible that appear to be for mounting a finger rest, bridge cover, and pickup fence. The body also shows scattered dents and scratches. Part of the pickguard is cut, but this does not affect playability. Dents are also visible on the neck and headstock.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
