Roscoe is a high-end bass brand based in North Carolina, USA.
It's known for being used by musicians such as Jimmy Haslip, Anthony Crawford, and Wataru Suzuki. (Titles omitted)
The LG is Roscoe's flagship model, enjoying immense popularity.
It's a masterpiece with a smart look and hyper-smooth playability.
This is a 2015 6-string model.
It features practical modifications.
The body has a Spalted Quilt Maple top and an Alder back.
The neck is a multi-layer laminate of Maple and Purpleheart.
This technique of laminating multiple woods together to create the neck reduces left-right and individual differences, resulting in greater stability.
The fingerboard is made of Bolivian Rosewood.
While the wood grains used are not particularly flashy, their high quality is immediately apparent.
The pickups are Bartolini soapbar pickups, and the preamp is an Aguilar OBP-3.
A master tone control and active/passive switch have been added.
This work was done at GIB.
In addition to its high playability, it boasts a rich midrange and a silky sound with beautiful harmonics.
Looks, sound—everything is of a high caliber; it's a truly superb instrument.
The frets have approximately 90% remaining.
