It is highly regarded by many professional artists, and is known to be a favorite of Mitsuru Sudo and Larry Graham. (Titles omitted)
This model is the PB-4C, Moon's classic PB model.
It was ordered from GIB.
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is made of Honduras rosewood, a classic wood combination.
The body color is Fiesta Red, the finish is lacquer, and it features a matching headstock.
The pickups are newly adopted H.Y.G PB.
They are simple split-coil pickups with complete hand-wiring.
And, it uses a passive circuit without active circuitry.
The high playability and ease of use, where the sound naturally resonates with a light touch, are typical of Moon and very pleasing.
However, the sound is Fender-like and traditional.
It has a thick low end and a strong midrange, while the playability is refined and smooth.
PB models with this kind of balance are rare, and it really shows the brand's high level of manufacturing skill.
