Description & Condition
This item has been leveled using PLEK.
The string height at the 12th fret is 1.5mm for the G string and 2.0mm for the E string (2.3mm for the Low-B string).
Sadowsky is a high-end New York brand with top musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee as clients.
This model is from the era when Sadowsky was manufactured in Japan and is now discontinued, but it still enjoys strong support and boasts reliable quality.
It is completely different from the current Metroline Express.
Okada International, which has handled top brands such as Sadowsky NYC and Suhr for many years, was in charge of the basic design, and its high quality is highly regarded.
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is made of pau ferro.
The pickups are J-type with a split-coil structure for hum cancellation, as exemplified by DiMarzio.
Because it incorporates Sadowsky's original preamp, the electronics, the heart of the instrument, are on par with those of the original NYC models.
The actual sound is characterized by Sadowsky's signature clear and punchy tone.
It boasts excellent separation, preventing muddiness even when playing chords or fast passages, and maintains a clear, defined tone that cuts through the ensemble.
The noiseless environment unique to hum-canceling pickups and the thick, fast response of the active circuitry are major advantages in live performances and recording.
Furthermore, it offers an extremely smooth playing feel that is immediately apparent, minimizing player stress and offering exceptional playability.
The combination of superior electronics and reliable woodworking techniques makes this a masterpiece worthy of being called the ultimate modern JB.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
There are small dents and scratches on the body and finish, including on the neck, headstock, and body.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
