Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It is loved by countless top artists such as Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.
Its sharp and clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today.
This model is the JB62-75US from the highly acclaimed but now discontinued Fender Japan brand.
As indicated by the US model number, it was originally a higher-end model equipped with US-made pickups as standard.
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood, standard specifications.
A vintage-like spiral bridge is used.
This instrument has had its pickups replaced with Seymour Duncan SJB-3s.
While retaining the authentic Fender feel and basic character expected of a higher-end model, it boasts a more powerful sound.
For those looking for a good, ready-to-use Jazz Bass at a reasonable price, this is a must-try from the Fender Japan era.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
The truss rod is stiff, but approximately 90 degrees of movement has been confirmed.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show some dents and scratches on the headstock and throughout the body.
The electronics are in good condition.
The neck pickup had a broken wire, so it was replaced with a Seymour Duncan SJB-3 at GIB.
