Description & Condition

SCHECTER is a brand based in the United States that manufactures and sells high-quality guitars.

It boasts a solid history and reputation in the US, having previously handled OEM manufacturing for New York brands such as Sadowsky.

This is the PA-MB, a signature model of MASAKI (CANTA, Jigoku Quartet, DAIDA LAIDA, etc.), one of Japan's leading virtuoso bassists. (Titles omitted)

The body is made of ash and features a Burned Wood Natural finish, where the wood grain is powerfully highlighted by burning it with a torch.

The striking look, which allows you to directly feel the texture of the wood, is very appealing.

The neck is made of 3-piece maple, and the fingerboard is also made of maple.

The joint is a through-neck construction, and the heel is finished very smoothly.

A major feature of this instrument is the inclusion of a Kahler tremolo unit.

This bass guitar allows for dynamic vibrato through whammy bar use and tricky approaches that involve sudden pitch drops, greatly expanding the expressive capabilities of the instrument.

It features two powerful humbucker pickups.

The controls consist of one volume control, a preamp on/off switch, and a rotary pickup selector.

Furthermore, an EQ is integrated into the control cavity, allowing you to pre-set your preferred sound.

To facilitate technical playing techniques such as three-finger picking and tapping, which are MASAKI's specialties, a clear finger ramp is installed between the pickups.

This high level of playability is a major strength.

The sound is characterized by a clear, tight tone with a strong attack.

The sound cuts through well and stands out even in a fierce ensemble.

For bassists who prefer a technical playing style, or players who want to explore innovative approaches, this is a unique and powerful weapon—a truly practical instrument.

The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork have no noticeable scratches.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
