Master Effects, a Canadian manufacturer of high-quality effects pedals,
uses a unique perspective and proven technical expertise to create the sounds players desire.
The Super Forty is a pedal-sized reproduction of the legendary Ashly SC-40, a favorite of Geddy Lee of Rush.
It features a 3-band semi-parametric EQ with ±15dB of boost/cut capability.
Each frequency band can be finely swept and adjusted, allowing for precise tone shaping.
Furthermore, it includes a "Distortion switch" that replicates the practical modifications described in the original manual, allowing for the addition of pleasing distortion.
This is a powerful preamp that fully captures the nuances of the bass and delivers a sound that powerfully supports the ensemble.
While there are slight signs of use on the exterior, the overall condition is beautiful. It is in perfect working order.
