Navigator is a brand within the globally renowned ESP Group, primarily responsible for manufacturing traditional models.
Its sound, produced through meticulous craftsmanship and carefully selected tonewoods, is highly regarded by players both domestically and internationally.
This model is a traditional PB-style bass.
While it's a one-off model and therefore cannot be definitively stated, the body is likely made of ash, the neck of maple, and the fingerboard of rosewood.
It's finished in a vibrant ocean blue color that allows the wood grain to show through.
The pickups are original.
The strap pins have been replaced with Schaller/S-Locks.
The sound features a crisp, articulate attack and a pleasantly thick midrange characteristic of a PB.
It's a very powerful and reliable bass to play.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck condition is such that, due to the bridge structure, the 1st string can only be lowered to 2.3mm at the 12th fret. Currently, it is playable without any problems.
The body and paintwork show scattered dents and scratches. Scratches are also visible on the pickup cover and pickguard. There is a dent of approximately 10.0mm in diameter on the back of the neck near the 3rd fret. There are scattered paint chips of approximately 1.0mm on the headstock tip. The metal parts show some tarnishing.
The electronics are in good condition.
The strap pins have been replaced with S-rock pins.
