Seymour Duncan is very famous as a pickup brand, but their basses are also quite popular.
This model is a JB-type bass in the style of the so-called NYC sound.
Manufactured in 2000.
"JAN 27 2000" is inscribed on the neck end.
The body is made of ash, and the fingerboard is maple, a classic combination.
It weighs a hefty 5kg.
The use of such heavy body wood in this style is quite appealing.
The pickups have been replaced with Atelier Z pickups.
The preamp is a Bartolini NTCT.
The bridge is a genuine Badass bridge.
It boasts a strong low end and sharp, crisp treble.
