Description & Condition
Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.
It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorious, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today.
Fender Japan started in the 1980s as a Japanese-made Fender, but unfortunately, it has now been discontinued and integrated into Fender itself.
However, the brand's quality is still supported by many artists and continues to be sought after.
This is the classic model, JB62-75.
Although there is no serial number printed on it, the markings on the neck end indicate that it was manufactured in 1982.
It is believed to be a unit from the so-called JV era, the year Fender Japan was established.
The body is alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
A classic combination with a rich midrange.
The paint has been refinished in Fiesta Red.
It shows signs of use overall, giving it a dignified look.
The pickups are original.
The sound, with its full, solid bass and sharp, beautiful treble, is truly classic.
A bassist would want to experience this sound and playability.
A classic instrument guaranteed to excel in any ensemble.
Approximately 60% of the frets remain.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck has a slight high-reach. It is playable without problems at a string height 0.1mm higher than the GIB standard (2.6mm~2.1mm).
The body and paint surface show some minor scratches, dents, and paint chips. The 4th string tuning peg is bent.
The electronics are in good condition.
The finish has been refinished in Fiesta Red.
