Description & Condition

Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.

It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)

The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.

Its sharp, clear sound is loved by many bassists, and it continues to receive overwhelming support and shines brightly even today.

This is a Jazz Bass manufactured in 1976, right in the middle of the CBS era.

Some of the pot dates are obscured by soldering, but the neck pickup volume pot is "13776xx", the bridge pickup volume pot is "137761xx", and the tone pot date is "1377613".

Furthermore, features such as the exposed bullet truss rod on the headstock, the 3-bolt neck joint with micro-tilt mechanism, and the serial number indicate that this is a 1976 model.

The body is made of ash, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood.

It features block position markers and binding, which are synonymous with the 70s.

The pickups have sponges that have hardened on the back due to age, making it impossible to confirm the originality of the stamps, etc.

However, given that it has been left untouched for many years, it is likely to be original.

The potentiometers appear to be original based on the date and solder condition.

It has also undergone refretting and nut replacement at GIB.

The truss rod nut has been replaced.

The jack has also likely been replaced.

The heavy ash body delivers a tight, massive low end, and the high end has a piercing attack that is very appealing.

This is a guitar with the potential to continue performing at the forefront of the music scene.

This guitar has undergone precise fret leveling using PLEK.

All frets are perfectly level, theoretically resulting in a stable tone without buzz.

Fret life is approximately 90%.

The truss rod is in good condition.

The neck is in good condition.

The body and paintwork have a vintage look with some scratches, dents, and tarnishing on the parts.

The electronics are in good condition.

Refretted and replaced with a new nut at GIB. The truss rod nut has been replaced.
