TECH 21 is a high-quality effects pedal brand that develops amp simulators and preamps, exemplified by the SansAmp.
This model is the SansAmp Bass Driver, a staple preamp for all bassists.
This is the first generation model, lacking a midrange EQ, and with its single switch, it's considered an early version.
Compared to the later model with three switches, it has a somewhat milder and warmer sound.
If you're looking for a basic, classic preamp sound, the early model is a good choice; if you want a more effective and aggressive sound, the later model is better.
The price of the early model is increasing year by year.
This is a masterpiece that we highly recommend trying for anyone looking for a preamp that will be the core of their sound.
There are some scratches and dirt, and the overall condition shows signs of use. It is in good working order.
