Ibanez is a leading Japanese guitar brand, globally renowned alongside Fender and Gibson.
The SR series is a long-running series, highly regarded worldwide for its well-balanced combination of a slim body and neck with powerful electronics.
This is the SSR620.
The body is made of mahogany, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
The neck is a 5-piece laminated neck made of maple and walnut.
This technique of laminating multiple pieces of wood together reduces left-right and individual differences, resulting in greater stability.
The pickups are Bartolini MK1.
The preamp is an Ibanez EQB-IIIS 3-band EQ.
As expected from Ibanez, it exhibits a good balance of sound and playability.
While ensuring playability with its slim neck and compact body, the powerful electronics deliver a clear, high-quality sound with no excess or deficiency from low to high frequencies.
