Tokai is a Japanese manufacturer of various musical instruments.
In particular, their guitars and basses are highly popular both domestically and internationally, representing the pinnacle of Japanese vintage craftsmanship.
They continue to manufacture instruments today, and their products are highly regarded by users.
This particular model is based on a traditional 1960s JB bass.
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
A classic combination with a rich midrange.
