Saitias Guitars is a bass guitar brand based in Chigasaki.
They have collaborated with numerous professional artists, including RADWIMPS and Wakazaemon, demonstrating their high level of reliability. (Titles omitted)
This is the Lexell 5, a model known to be a favorite of Wakazaemon.
As can be seen from the pickup placement, it is basically aimed at a JB-style sound.
This particular instrument is a show model created for Sound Messe in Osaka in May 2026.
While its luxurious appearance is evident, the deciding factor in acquiring it was actually the sound.
It features a slightly shorter scale, fewer joints, and a combination of hard woods.
Modern pickups and a classic preamp.
The brand's refined design capabilities are evident in these details, resulting in a very beautiful sound output.
The body top is made of Hawaiian Koa, and the back is made of Mahogany.
The quality of the wood is extremely high. While pickups are usually original, this one features Lollar Pickups.
The preamp is a Bartolini TCT.
The bridge and tuning machines are made by HIPSHOT.
As you can see from the specifications, the parts have been chosen to create a cohesive and excellent sound.
Due to the single-cutaway body, neck vibration is controlled to be more suppressed, resulting in a slightly tighter sound.
The beautiful finish of the neck, frets, and nut ensures high playability, which is a major plus.
