Sterling is a brand that manufactures more affordable models of MUSIC MAN guitars.
Even though they are more affordable, they offer high basic performance and fully inherit the characteristics of MUSIC MAN guitars.
While the StingRay is a classic MUSIC MAN model, the more modern BONGO is also popular.
This is a BONGO from the Sterling brand.
The body is made of Indonesian Mahogany, and the fretboard is rosewood.
The flowing, beautiful body shape is appealing.
The color, combined with the shape, gives it a futuristic feel.
The neck is made of roasted maple.
Roasted maple is a wood that has gained strong stability by being treated at high temperatures, which evaporates the moisture and oils inside the wood.
Originally used as a building material for Finnish saunas, it is particularly resistant to high temperatures and humidity.
It features 24 frets.
The pickups are original ceramic humbuckers.
The preamp is a 2-Band Active Preamp.
It features a master volume, balancer, and 2-band EQ.
Two humbuckers produce powerful lows and clear highs, while the ergonomically designed body offers excellent playability.
