Tech 21 is a brand that develops amplifier simulators and preamps, exemplified by the SansAmp.
It's known that musicians such as Osamu Kobayashi, Igo, Pino Palladino, Paul Gray (Slipknot), and Darryl Jones are avid users of the brand's products.
This GT2 pedal remains a standard model as a distortion pedal.
In addition to LEVEL, HIGH, LOW, and DRIVE controls, it features three switches.
The MIC switch allows you to select the microphone placement, and the AMP switch allows you to select the amplifier's character.
Furthermore, the MOD switch allows you to change the distortion texture.
While designed for guitar, it also delivers a thick, sustained distortion and a powerful drive sound when used with bass.
This pedal condenses the intuitive feel of analog operation with a practical tone that is timeless.
Although there are slight signs of use on the exterior, it is in overall beautiful condition. It is in perfect working order.
