Tech 21 is a brand that develops amplifier simulators and preamps, exemplified by the SansAmp series.
It's known that musicians such as Osamu Kobayashi, Igo, Pino Palladino, Paul Gray (Slipknot), and Darryl Jones are avid users of the brand's products.
This Q/STRIP unit is a DI preamp designed to recreate the legendary tone of vintage analog consoles from the 1960s and 70s.
The controls feature a 4-band EQ, including parametric EQ (MID 1, MID 2).
With a wide range of adjustment for the mid-range frequencies, and the inclusion of HPF (high-pass filter) and LPF (low-pass filter) for further frequency control, it allows for precise sound shaping.
It combines a warm analog sound with high functionality that enables fine-tuning.
It's a reliable unit for any stage or recording environment.
While there are slight signs of use on the exterior, the overall condition is beautiful. It is in good working order.
