Sadowsky is a leading New York brand, boasting a clientele of renowned musicians such as Marcus Miller, Will Lee, and Tal Wilkenfeld. (Titles omitted)
This model is a Japanese-made Metroline, which has unfortunately been discontinued.
It's a particularly special model: the Slap Master.
As a custom-made instrument, it can be considered almost identical to the Sadowsky TYO.
The body is made of ash, and the fretboard is maple—popular specifications.
It features Sadowsky Humcancelling J pickups.
The preamp is a Classic Sadowsky Treble and Bass boost pre-amp.
The bridge is an OMEGA BASS, with the same specifications as the Badass bridge.
The passive tone control has been removed, and the gap between the strings and pickguard is narrower than before.
The Slap Master is made using a slightly different approach than traditional Sadowsky guitars, with a smoother neck prioritizing playability.
While it bears the name "Slap Master," for those seeking a sharper, more classic NYC sound, this is a better choice than the standard model.
