Lakland basses are overwhelmingly highly regarded by professional bass players worldwide.
They are known to be used by top artists such as Darryl Jones, Joe Osborn, and Adam Clayton. (Titles omitted)
Lakland offers several models and grades, but this model is from the Skyline series, manufactured in Korea.
The Skyline series was introduced in 2001, so this is one of the first models produced.
This is the 55-01 Standard.
Unlike the standard 55-94 model, this model was designed with a simpler, more modern sound in mind.
The body is made of ash, and the fingerboard is maple.
This combination produces a tight sound with excellent attack.
The pickups are Bartolini MK1, and the preamp is also Bartolini MK1.
Both the pickups and preamp were manufactured in Korea.
The 35-inch scale, ash body, and maple fingerboard combination produce a tight low end and clear high end.
This guitar boasts the excellent playability characteristic of Lakland guitars.
This model is rarely available in Japan.

The warranty period is 3 months for used items and 1 year for new items.
