Alleva Coppolo is a brand founded by Jimmy Coppolo, drawing on his experience at renowned New York bass shops like Rudy's.
Initially, the workshop was in New York, but it is now located in California.
It's well-known that many professional bassists, including Paul Turner and Wataru Suzuki, use Alleva Coppolo basses. (Titles omitted)
This is a Limited Edition LG5.
This particular instrument was produced for the 2020 NAMM Show.
The body and neck are made of Korina wood, and the fingerboard is Rosewood.
The use of Korina wood, which is not used in standard models, indicates that this is a special model.
The pickups and preamp are original to the brand.
Basically, it has the sound and playability typical of recent Alleva Coppolo models, with a comfortable balance of looseness and refinement.
This JB-style bass boasts rich low-mids and bright, clear highs, combined with a powerful preamp, creating an impression of comprehensive coverage across all frequencies.
Despite the use of rare tonewoods, it delivers the universally desired JB sound that bassists crave, a truly exceptional instrument with a distinct brand character.
