Description & Condition

Brian Moore Guitars is a renowned American custom guitar brand, well known among players and enthusiasts in the know.

There was a time when their instruments were imported into countries such as Korea and Japan. In particular, during the 1990s, the brand gained a certain level of recognition and was featured in media outlets such as Guitar Magazine. Today, however, very few are available on the market, making them increasingly rare.

It is also a brand that has been loved by numerous musicians, including Pat Metheny and Allen Hinds.

This particular instrument is a made-in-USA TC-4 model from the original Brian Moore lineup. While it was originally built as a right-handed model, it has been professionally converted for left-handed players.

The body features an Ash back with an Exotic Maple top. The neck is Maple, paired with a Rosewood fingerboard, giving it a classic and timeless specification.

The bridge is made by Schaller, while the tuning machines are equipped with Sperzel hardware. Though these are parts that defined their era, they remain unquestionable premium components even today. In particular, Sperzel locking tuners are somewhat rare and exceptionally well made.

Both the pickups and preamp are by Seymour Duncan. Having the electronics unified under the same brand creates excellent synergy throughout the system.

The sound is natural and smooth, with a refined and balanced tonal character. Thanks to its even response, it is highly versatile and capable of covering a wide range of tonal shaping.

As expected from a custom brand, the playability is also outstanding. Left-handed basses are already uncommon, but opportunities to acquire a high-end model of this caliber are exceptionally rare. This is a truly unique instrument, and we highly recommend experiencing it in person at GIB Seoul.

As part of the left-handed conversion, the strap pin position has been relocated, an additional cavity has been added, and some control holes have been professionally filled and refinished.
