Description & Condition
Sire became famous for releasing basses supervised by Marcus Miller.
The quality of their guitars and basses is extremely high, and they are highly regarded not only by Marcus Miller fans but also by a wider audience.
This is the new Z7-5.
As you can see, it's a model inspired by the MUSIC MAN Stingray.
While the Z3 model was also released, the Z7 adds a pickup and features a preamp with more detailed adjustments.
The body is alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
A classic combination with a rich midrange.
The pickups are the Sire Premium J+MM Pickup set.
These can be freely mixed using the balancer.
The preamp is the Marcus Heritage-3.
It includes a middle frequency control, and the controls are Volume/Tone, Blender, Treble, Middle/Freq, and Bass. In addition, it can be switched between active and passive modes.
The MUSIC MAN Stingray doesn't originally have a passive option, so many will likely view this positively.
The fretboard and fretwork are exceptional.
While this is expected for this price range, it's also comparable to guitars in higher price ranges, boasting a high level of quality.
The sound is exactly as expected, with crisp, strong highs and tight lows.
Until now, there haven't been many options for this type of guitar, but I feel that a truly excellent replica has finally arrived. Highly recommended.
The frets have approximately 90% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.

There are some minor scratches on the body and paintwork.
