Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano.
It's a brand under the Deviser umbrella, which owns a large guitar factory called the Asuka Factory. The high quality, stemming from the factory's in-house production, is highly regarded by many musicians.
This model is from Bacchus's Universe series, which offers a range of guitars with excellent cost performance.
Based on the top-of-the-line WOODLINE model, the body has a slightly dinky shape.
The neck is a 5-piece laminate neck primarily made of maple and rosewood.
This demonstrates a design aimed at providing high strength against warping and twisting.
The body top features Burl Poplar.
Burl refers to the knotty part of a tree that forms at the base.
Its exotic look, unusual for a guitar, is often seen in high-end bass brands.
