Description & Condition

Yamaha is a renowned brand that has supported the Japanese guitar industry since its early days.

Countless top artists, including Nathan East, John Patitucci, and Billy Sheehan, use Yamaha basses. (Titles omitted)

The brand boasts many iconic models, such as the BB and TRB series, all of which have received high praise from top professionals and have been loved for a long time.

This is the SBV500, developed based on the older SB series.

With its uniquely cute appearance and surprisingly robust sound, this model remains incredibly popular even after production has ceased.

Manufactured in Taiwan.

Some may have concerns about the quality of Asian-made basses from this period, but seeing this particular instrument will demonstrate that such concerns are unnecessary.

While not the highest-end model, it possesses solid quality and is perfectly adequate as a practical instrument.

The body is constructed from alder, the neck from maple, and the fingerboard from rosewood—classic wood combinations.

This is a classic combination that produces a rich midrange.

Despite its highly distinctive body shape, it features a simple 2-volume, 1-tone control scheme.

The pickups are single-coil based on JB-type pickups.

The sound is based on Yamaha's characteristic tight and unwavering tone, while also featuring a punchy attack thanks to the excellent pickup design.

Thanks to its orthodox construction, it outputs a surprisingly straightforward and clear tone, unexpected from its unconventional silhouette.

The gritty edge, especially when driven, fits perfectly into pick-played rock ensembles.

This is a truly rock-and-roll instrument, combining a unique design that will captivate audiences on stage with a robust sound that's perfect for live performances.

This product has undergone precise fret leveling using PLEK.

All frets are perfectly level, theoretically resulting in a stable tone without buzz.

Fret wear is approximately 80%.

The truss rod is in good condition.

The neck is in good condition.

There is a dent on the headstock and some scratches on the body.

The electronics are in good condition.

No obvious modifications were observed.
