Description & Condition
Gibson is a king of guitars, having produced numerous legendary instruments.
While their guitars are particularly popular, their basses, with their distinctive looks and rock-oriented sound, are also extremely popular.
This model is a 1979 Ripper Bass.
It's an original fretless model.
The serial number on the back of the headstock is ""70509085,"" indicating it was manufactured in 1979.
The last four digits of the potentiometers, ""78XX,"" indicate the year of manufacture, 1978.
Considering other specifications, we determined it was manufactured in 1979.
The body and neck are made of maple, and the fingerboard is ebony.
It's equipped with two Bill Lawrence-designed Original Super Humbucker pickups.
It boasts a thick, deep, rock-oriented sound characteristic of Gibson.
When combined with the fretless design, it transforms into a sweeter sound.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork have scratches and dents.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.

The neck has some upward bowing, and the bridge is fully lowered, so it can be played without problems with an adjustment 1.0mm higher than the GIB standard (3.0mm-3.5mm at the 12th fret).

●Re-purchase Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchased item within 6 months of purchase, we guarantee the buyback price. The price is 50% for new items and 70% for used items.
●Defect Warranty
Basic Co., Ltd. provides a warranty against defects for products sold by the company. With the exception of some items such as consigned goods, we will repair (or refund if repair is not possible) any malfunctions that occur during normal use within a certain warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge.
The warranty period is 3 months for used products and 1 year for new products.
Please note that the following cases will incur a charge even within the warranty period:
* Malfunctions and damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
* Replacement of consumables.
* Malfunctions and damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
* Malfunctions and damage caused by handling contrary to the precautions described in the instruction manual.
* Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by a party other than our company.
* If the warranty certificate does not have your name, model name, serial number, etc. filled in, or if the wording has been altered.
* If the warranty certificate is not presented or is lost.
