The BTB series, in particular, features a design ideal for multi-string basses, characterized by its unique appearance and excellent playability.

This is the BTB676 model, which is no longer in production.

It's the predecessor to the current BTB746.

The body top is walnut, and the body back is ash and okoume.

The luxurious look, with its warm wood tones, is very appealing.

The neck is a 5-piece laminated maple and walnut neck with a rosewood fingerboard and a neck-through construction.

The technique of laminating multiple pieces of wood to create the neck reduces left-right and individual differences, resulting in greater stability.

The pickups are Bartolini BH2, and the preamp is the original, a standard configuration for the brand.

It delivers a modern, massive sound typical of Ibanez.

Because of its design, which is based on multi-string basses, it feels surprisingly well-balanced when held, unlike a typical 6-string bass.

It boasts a wide frequency range from Low B to Hi C, and thanks to high-quality electronics, it outputs the sound without any excess or deficiency from low to high frequencies.

Its excellent cost performance, which eases the perceived barrier to entry for 6-string basses, is also a major attraction.
