Description & Condition
Three Dots is a new brand created by Yoshiyuki Kikuchi (and Okada International), who has earned immense trust from many professional bassists, particularly for his work with Sadowsky.
This model is an ambitious creation that fully incorporates Mr. Kikuchi's intentions, based on the traditional JB bass.
This is a newly added active version.
The body is made of Alder 2P, and the fingerboard is Indian Rosewood.
It's a classic combination with a rich midrange as its core.
Many aspects, such as the neck angle and initial setup, adopt a design that has evolved from the Fender style, strongly demonstrating a high level of emphasis on playability.
The pickups are an original design.
These pickups reference the sound of vintage Fenders used by professional musicians in the field.
After much trial and error, these pickups were completed, and while the sound is not flashy, it has a well-balanced sound from low to high frequencies, and the overall finish is very refined.
The preamp features an EMG BTC pickup.
It has a 2-band equalizer with treble and bass controls, each offering 12dB of boost/cut.
This combination is excellent, providing a wide range while remaining powerful and fast.
Overall, the sound is well-balanced, and combined with playability, it delivers a high level of quality.
The balance—just the right amount of flashiness without being overpowering in an ensemble—and the smooth playability will make it a strong ally in various situations.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.

The body and paintwork show some minor scratches, but are generally clean.

The warranty period is 3 months for used items and 1 year for new items.
