Atelier Z is a professional-grade bass brand widely loved by professional bassists both in Japan and internationally.

It's known that many prominent musicians, including Tomohito Aoki, KenKen, BOH, and JINO, use their basses.

The M#265 is the flagship M-series model and a signature model of Tomohito Aoki.

Based on the 1970s Fender Jazz Bass, it's a more modern and evolved model.

This particular bass features custom modifications throughout.

The body is made of 2-piece ash, the neck is 1-piece maple, and the fingerboard is maple.

The pickups have been replaced: the neck pickup is a Bartolini 59CBJD-S1, and the bridge pickup is a Bartolini 74MV5C.

The bridge pickup cavity has been routed accordingly.

The preamp is a Bartolini XTCT with an added MCT375.

This allows for a midrange boost, which is normally only available as a cut.

Furthermore, the bridge pickup can be coil-tapped via a push-pull master volume control.

In this way, modifications have been made to greatly expand the range of sound shaping.

This guitar boasts a tight and massive low end and piercing highs from its super-heavyweight ash body, along with a wide range of sound shaping possibilities.

The frets have approximately 60% remaining.

The body and paintwork show some minor scratches and dents.
