Description & Condition

Sire became famous for releasing basses supervised by Marcus Miller. (Titles omitted)

The quality of the guitars and basses manufactured by the company is extremely high, and they are widely supported not only by Miller's fans but also by many others.

This is the F10dc 6-string model, which pursues the highest level of modern style within the brand, which is strongly associated with the JB style.

The body top is made of rosewood, and the back is made of alder.

The double-cut body shape not only has a modern and flowing look, but also allows for smooth access to the higher positions.

The neck is a 5-piece through-neck construction combining hard maple and mahogany.

This method of laminating multiple pieces of wood to create the neck reduces left-right and individual differences, resulting in higher rigidity and stability.

It uses a 35-inch scale, which enhances the tension in the low-end and improves pitch clarity.

The fingerboard is made of rosewood.

The relatively flat 12-inch radius fingerboard and fast-attacking stainless steel frets maintain a consistent playability even in the higher positions.

It responds with clear articulation even in modern playing techniques such as slap bass and fast phrases.

The fingerboard features an edgeless design with smoothly rounded edges, fitting the style of players who prioritize smooth fingering.

Most players will likely find this feature appealing.

The pickups are the original Marcus Custom-H Revolution Set humbucking pickups with wooden covers.

A variation switch allows you to switch the pickup wiring, enabling a wide range of tones, from thick and powerful humbucker tones to clear and articulate single-coil-like sounds.

The preamp is the Marcus Heritage-3 HD, boasting a wide range and clear output.

Combined with the pickup variation switch, it allows for a wide range of sound shaping.

The sound is characterized by a deep, tight low end and rich sustain.

While possessing the powerful push characteristic of humbuckers, the treble is moderately mellow and not harsh on the ears.

The separation of each frequency range is excellent, maintaining a consistent tension and resolution from Low-B to High-C, so chords never sound muddy.

The rich harmonics and stable pitch make it highly compatible with technical soloing and modern ensembles that prioritize clarity.

This is an outstanding instrument that matches styles that want to fully utilize the rich sound characteristic of high-end basses and the wide tonal range of multi-string basses.
