While it's well-known that they are an excellent bass amplifier manufacturer, they are also an excellent guitar brand.

This model is a modern bass developed in collaboration with Richard Bona.

It is also positioned as his signature model.

Manufacturing takes place in Italy.

I know someone who actually manufactures them, and his original brand is similarly highly regarded, especially within the EU.

It's safe to say that the quality is top-notch.

Many Italian guitar brands, such as Alusonic and Capurso, have emerged in recent years, reflecting Italy's long tradition as a stringed instrument manufacturing country.

It is this foundation that likely led Markbass to choose to manufacture basses in collaboration with Italian workshops.

This is a special model, and the body uses Spruce and Olive from Northern Italy, the same wood used in the finest violins.

The body top is Olive.

While many previous KILIMANJARO models had a natural look, this one boasts a more modern and exotic feel.

The bridge is a HIPSHOT KICKASS.

The overall design is very refined, allowing the strings to vibrate naturally and richly.

The tuning machines are GOTOH RES O LITE.

Recently, GOTOH seems to be increasingly popular, especially among European brands. It's a testament to their reliability.

RES O LITE is a lightweight type, and its tonal quality feels similar to HIPSHOT Ultralite.

It's a good option even for those who dislike Japanese-made metal hardware.

The pickups are Bartolini MK5CBC, and the preamp is a Markbass original.

The combination of these components is exceptionally good, providing a strong midrange and rich harmonics as a foundation, while allowing for flexible sound shaping with the Markbass-esque sound enhanced by the preamp.

Markbass preamps are excellent. Truly top-notch quality.

While the sound is different from Fender, the sense of balance feels quite similar.

The playability is exceptional; the bass's quick response and smooth sound evoke an indescribable feeling of bliss.

The fact that these nuances are consistently achieved in every single unit, not just by chance, gives it a truly professional feel.

This is definitely not a product hastily put together by an amp manufacturer.

●Lifetime Free Maintenance

Instruments purchased from our store are eligible for lifetime free ""String Vibration Setup"" (normally ¥4,400). (Reservation required)

・Please present your warranty card with your name filled in.

・Only applicable to the person who purchased the instrument at a GIB or TONIQ physical store or online shop.

●Re-purchase Price Guarantee

If you sell your purchased item within 6 months of purchase, we guarantee the buyback price. The price is 50% for new items and 70% for used items.

●Defect Warranty

Basic Co., Ltd. provides a warranty against defects for products sold by the company. With the exception of some items such as consigned goods, we will repair (or refund if repair is not possible) any malfunctions that occur during normal use within a certain warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge.

The warranty period is 3 months for used products and 1 year for new products.
