Collision Devices is a boutique effects pedal brand that is handmade in France.
It's a young brand, founded around 2016, but has gained a huge following in Europe and the US.
Black Hole Symmetry is their flagship model, a reverb/delay/fuzz machine.
The three footswitches allow each function to be turned on and off individually.
The three footswitches allow you to turn on and off each function individually, and the controls are completely independent of each other, so you don't really feel the complexity that comes from its appearance.
The reverb has a pitch-shift function that allows you to adjust the pitch infinitely, so it can cover a wide range of sounds from chaotic to harmonic.
The delay also has a modulation function, and with its high transparency, it can be used on its own or in combination to create a clear and spacy sound.
By polluting it with fuzz sounds, you can get the nuance that has been so useful in shoegazing in recent years at a high level.
This is a modern European effect pedal that is completely different from the classic American tone.
