Alvarez Yairi is the export brand of K.Yairi, one of Japan's most respected guitar manufacturers.
The Alvarez Yairi CY128CE is a high-end electric classical guitar designed with practicality in mind for both live performance and recording environments.
While preserving the rich acoustic resonance that defines a traditional classical guitar, it incorporates modern features that make it highly versatile and convenient for contemporary stage use.
One of its most notable features is the single-cutaway body design, which allows easy access to the upper frets. This makes high-position playing far more comfortable than on conventional classical guitars.
The "CE" designation stands for "Cutaway" and "Electric." Equipped with an onboard pickup system, the guitar can be connected directly to an amplifier or PA system, faithfully reproducing the warm, smooth, and expressive character of nylon strings.
Handcrafted at the K.Yairi workshop in Japan, the CY128CE demonstrates the exceptional craftsmanship for which the company is renowned. Premium tonewoods have been carefully selected throughout the instrument to achieve both excellent sound quality and visual elegance.
Based on its appearance, the guitar features a spruce top, rosewood back and sides, a mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard.
