Squier is a brand under the Fender umbrella, producing products particularly in the lower price range.
Many unique models not available from Fender attract the attention of many guitar enthusiasts.
The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model of the Precision Bass.
Its sharp, clear sound is beloved by many bassists, and it continues to enjoy overwhelming support and a shining presence to this day.
While Squier is often perceived as a budget-friendly brand, the Vintage Modified and Classic Vibe models in particular are often highly praised for their quality.
This is such a Vintage Modified fretless bass.
The tuning machines have been replaced with HIP SHOT Ultralites.
This is a clear upgrade.
The sound is clear and powerful, as expected of a Jazz Bass.
And the singing tone of a fretless bass is appealing.
It has a gutsy playing feel without losing the Fender feel.
I recommend it.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in poor condition, showing signs of high-rise. Adjusting it 0.5mm higher than the GIB standard (2.5mm-3.0mm at the 12th fret) allows for smooth playability.
The body and finish show occasional dents and scratches. There are repaired finger rest screw holes. The fingerboard has scratches that appear to have been caused by strings.
The electrical system is in good condition.
The tuning machines have been replaced with HIP SHOT Ultralites. The original screw hole marks have been repaired.

● Repurchase Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchase within six months of purchase, we will guarantee the repurchase price. This guarantee applies to 50% of the purchase price for new instruments and 70% of the purchase price for used instruments.
● Defect Guarantee
Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items and other products, we will repair any malfunctions that occur under normal use free of charge during the warranty period (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).
The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.
Please note that even within the warranty period, there will be a fee for repairs in the following cases:
- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
- Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by parties other than our company.
- If your name, model name, serial number, etc. are not written on the warranty card, or if the wording has been altered.
- If the warranty card is not presented or lost.
(Warranty is only available for purchases within Japan.)
